Special printed adhesive tapes BOPP
Polypropylene film can be combined with other adhesives such as hotmelt or silent. Adhesive also influences the tape unwinding volume, the vast majority of these tapes is louder than PVC tapes. There are special so-called low-noise natural rubber tapes that are as silent as PVC tapes when unwinding.
Printed adhesive tape with hotmelt adhesive
This tape consists of biaxially oriented polypropylene film (BOPP) with applied hotmet adhesive.
If you need printed adhesive tape with higher immediate tack, use hotmelt adhesive. Unlike acrylate adhesives, which only achieve their maximum tack after several hours, hotmelt adheres with maximum tack immediately.
Thanks to this characteristic of hotmelt tapes, it is possible to use them for application in colder, unheated warehouses, where the temperature reaches approximately 15-21 degrees Celsius, but you will achieve better effect if you store the adhesive tape in heated warehouses with temperature of 18-21 degrees Celsius prior to use.
This adhesive on the basis of synthetic rubber adheres with exceptional strength. Its processing takes place in molten state, and thus contains no solvents. It adheres to the taped up material easily and forms a firm connection quickly, which can only be taken apart in case of visible damage to the box.
A disadvantage of hotmelt is faster aging compared to acrylate, and after application, it has lower resistance to UV radiation.
For quality tack, we use adhesive with bond strength of 18 microns. More on hotmelt adhesive.

Printed adhesive tape with Silent adhesive (low-noise) or quiet unrolling
For the customers, for whom the loudness of tape unrolling when wrapping up consignments is an important criterion, but they do not wish to use the less ecological PVC tape, there is the option of BOPP printed adhesive tape with modified acrylate adhesive called low-noise nebo silent. They unroll much more quietly than a tape with classic acrylate adhesive. More on silent adhesive.
